MAKINGCONNECTIONS

The UW-Madison Student Chapter of WASLA serves as the link between the state chapter and students in the Landscape Architecture department. Together, they are part of the national organization, the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Locally, the student chapter connects professionals with the university and provides opportunities for career development.

The goal of the Student Chapter is to connect students with professionals and provide exposure to the various aspects of landscape architecture. This integration helps prepare students to succeed in the working world after graduation. We hope to expand our outreach by developing a network of multidisciplinary professionals. As we grow, our impact will extend beyond the university boundaries into the greater community and landscape architecture as a whole.
